I have two guns; a JBL 38 Special and a larger Riffe. Though the Riffe is probably a "better" gun, I use the JBL more often because it is more appropriate for the majority of my hunts. The only problem I have had with the JBL has been broken shafts, otherwise it has served me well.

hey!
really great to read all the info!

i appreciate it....

i just wanna find someone who can teach me here in so. cali! =(

i'll look into all the types....i saw the JBL today at sport chalet.....neat gun....

never thought of the "loudness" of the pneumatic......great point.
with the pneumatic, does a "few pumps" last for an entire hunt??

thanks again guys,

-dan

The pressure in your pnuematic should last years.
It takes more than a "few" pumps to charge a pnuematic. It has been a while since I pumped up mine but I think it was around 350 pumps. Your instructions will give you some idea.
Don't let the loudness factor concern you too much. The bubbles coming out of your reg are loud and fairly continuos. That definitally keeps the fish away.
