Hey rebreather community,

I'm hoping you guys might be able to help me find some info I was reading a while back (1-2 years ago), but google seems to no longer return the search hit. There was a forum post, albeit on a completely different forum to SB, where a rebreather diver had posted his experience about not cleaning his rebreather properly, and landing himself in hospital with a serious infection picked up from said dirty rebreather. He was lucky in that his rebreather still sat on the shelf (uncleaned) in his garage whilst he was at hospital, and they were able to take a sample from his rebreather to test specifically what bacteria he had been infected with to target treatment.

That's really all I remember from reading it. Has anyone else read this and can link me to the info or post on the internet? I thought the name of the forum was something along the lines of silent explorers, but I can't find anything either way.
