I plan to take the boat to Cypress this week. Anyone want ot come along?

The water company could nto get the permits to pump.

The old owners could not get the permits to open their other spring as to the no, no's they did to Cypress.

the land owners do not own the water or the spring, only the land around it. The water and water way belongs to the people of Florida.

I got to dive in that spring when I first wandered down to Florida from Washington state. The physical setting is unreal. Talking with the owners there before they closed it and with the owner of a small winery in a neighboring dry county gave me some unreal insights in north Florida county politics. Very personal and not too pretty.
Krisscuba - I'd be up there in a second if it wasn't 600 miles away now. Enjoy!

Hidiver, how do you manage to cover 600 miles from Boca Roaton to Vernon. Are you going around the keys in a boat?
