The Smart TEC is only listed on the Scubaro website in the New for 2005 section, not the Uwatec site...?

So far I've heard nothing about it, but I have not called around yet.

Two like computers for me is similar to having two regulators on a dive trip; even if it's not a very challenging dive, if one goes down it's great to have. Any deep dive I'm wearing them both anyway.

Get the Aeris Elite and an Aeris Atmos2 for a back up

The Elite is wrist mount and air integrated and the Atmos2 runs an identical program as the Elite and would there fore be great as a back up.

I read some of the manual for the Smart Tech because I would like to purchase one, but it appears that you need a computer interface to change the settings of the unit. I was told by a friend who has one of the other Smart computers that this is the case.

These dive computers are getting like the new televisions or vcr's where you need the remote to get access to all of the settings of the device. I don't really care to have to spend $800 or more for a desktop computer just to turn off alarms or anything else on the dive computer. I have an Oceanic Pro Plus - console and have been looking for a wrist mount unit with a little bit more conservative program and wireless air integration.
