Oh, come on! There MUST be a dirty pond or something nearby. I bet, it you REALLY wanted to, you could be in the water in an hour. There are even freshwater springs in the Mojave Desert. I'd dive a muddy hoof print if I could get my face into it.

When are you going to be at Mermet? I know a lot of folks that dive there, including myself. Well, I sort of know myself. lol

I live about 30 min from Mermet, but drive an hour to get to Cerulean KY (just cause I know I can find a buddy there, warm water, nice people and its good vis etc etc etc yada yada yada) any ways have fun.

What sort of weather do you have to get to have the dive cancelled?

I have never had a dive cancelled due to bad weather!, either im lucky or just dive with a stubborn bunch.

I should have added that we have had to cancel the dive due to strong current. It had sumberged a DANBouy!
