So if your long hose reg is leaking, what's your course of action, Kev? From start to finish.
If both bottles are plugged in, one is on (driving the system) and one is off (due to the mismatched IP issue discussed earlier) and your'e losing gas, what option DO you have besides shut down the bottle (ergo, the entire gas supply) and either a) reach for another 2nd stage in your pocket (tick tock on that gas supply...) or b) go on a long hose? Even if both tanks are on, your immediate regulator options are coming from an LP source in a combined system.
You say to turn off the tank with a downstream leak... BOTH tanks have a 'downstream' leak if they're connected via a distribution block.
