Been using Mares fins for almost 30 years in one form or another and never had need to change make, they work for me, easy to back paddle, and when you need some speed or fight against a strong current they work well too.

Whatever fins you go for make sure you have spring straps :D

I use hollis f2's for any type of wetsuit diving that I do, they come with a spring strap, and that is about the only positive I can give them! They have very little power when doing shore kick outs , etc. ....when I drysuit dive, I use turtles, because of the large foot pocket for rock boots, and there is a reason the old school design is seen on experienced divers feet, because they offer great power and just work! The cost for these or an old pair of jet/rocket fins are very reasonable, my turtles were $40 on eBay, and $30 for some spring straps
