The quarry in Gadsten, Alabama. Amazing quarry, I had probably 90 foot vis in it last summer. Unfortunately it doesnt look like too many people visit, so they were trying to sell it. I dont know the status on it though. I hope it is still open, it was a great place to dive.
 
I knew it was for sale, but didn't know if they had determined if it would open this year or not if it didn't sell.

If you call their phone number, the answering machine says "They are closed for the season and will re-open in April of 07". (so it appears they thought they would re-open, but I'm not betting any money on it.)

BTW... they want $910,000 for it if anyone wants to buy it.

There was a "sorta grass roots" efffort on here to get folks here to chip in money to buy it, but no one really stepped up and organized it.... it fluttered away...
