+ 1 with scubasteve. This is a too common misunderstanding of DM's duties. He is NOT a teacher , except that, in my exemple he was wearing 3 hats. This is why I have a problem :(
 
A dive master is a guide - not a life saver. Videos appreciated.
If you need a life saver, then don't dive.

A diving instructor must not take videos or participate in other distracting tasks during challenging dives, as the students may need some help. The situation changes when the student is safe but needs to improve on efficiency. Videos are great feedback.

To act as a guide while also teaching simultaneously is unacceptable.
The video is an irrelevant detail.
