We went out to Pickens and the water is really bad at the surface but once you get down about 20ft it opens up and looks wonderful... I finally got my camera set back up so we took some video:

Bad like oil all over the surface bad? We are planning on going to Pickens for the 4th and I'm having a tough time getting good reports of conditions.

And insight would be helpful!

Thanks,

Jason

There's no visible slicks on the surface. But the water does look very brown. That could just be from weather, but we even sneezed a lot after and during the dive itself.

That could be from something else but all I know is it definitely looked a light brown all through to 20ft - possibly hydrocarbons from what I had heard from before.
