I WILL BE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD IN JUNE, AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY DIVE SITES AROUND?

THANKS

Diving opportunities abound in the sunshine state. You can dive in the living seas right at Epcot, visit any of our springs, or drive a couple of hours to hit the oceans. The Rampage of West Palm Beach is my favorite, or Loggerhead out of Boynton. Blue Spring is a wonderful dive, as are Alexander Springs, or go a little north to cave country. There you have Ginnie , Peacock Springs, the Devil's Den and the 40 Fathom Grotto (if you like deep). Tell us a little more about what you are looking for and the time frame you are willing to commit and we can narrow down the search for you! Check this link out for some more ideas...

THANKS

I WILL BE ON MY HONEY MOON, AND THE LITTLE MISSES IS NOT A DIVER, (TRIED BUT HAD EAR PROBLEMS) SO I NEED A PLACE CLOSE TO DISNEY, AND ONLY FOR A DAY.

in the Living Seas and then your wife can watch you thru the glass and take pics of you.

just curious, how much is it to dive at epcot?? i think i've heard from someone it was around 180...??

$180, and they HAVE to provide everything but your face mask. They have masks too, but you can at least have your own if you want.

Maybe around $140, you can always call to find out. 1-407-W-DISNEY.

I know folks that have done the dive and they really enjoyed it. Its a 2 hour tour and a 30 min dive I think. Net Doc is right, you can only bring your own mask but that's because of contaminates. Oh and you get a t-shirt too.

Blue Springs is a 20 minute drive. Also, in Bradenton Beach (near Tampa- about 1 1/2 hour drive) there is a Beach Dive. There is also a decent dive in Vero Beach (about an hour's drive).

It's your Honeymoon right?

The Disney Dive kind of incudes her because she can watch you. Diving any place else doesn't really include her, right?

I can just picture her reminding you over and over again for years that you went off diving without her on your honeymoon. her :nono:........ you

I think I'd do the Disney dive or save the diving for the next vacation after the honeymoon!

It's tough, but sometimes we gotta pretend that there are other things that interest us!
