Hey Simon,

Jasonb hasn't been online in the last 8 months.

BTW, welcome (Scub)aBoard! :happywave

Hi Simon

Torrevieja is a little sparse itself for diving as it's mainly sandy with not a lot to see. There are some diving areas to the north and south though. The best I have seen in the area is around Cabe de Palos / La Manga, which is about an hours drive away.

I've dived with a few operators down there, but found the best to be Deep Impact who are based on the La Manga strip with a rib at La Manga marina. Have a look at their web site for more details http://www.diving-consultants.com

I'm going to be there at the end of May/beginning June so may see you down there!

Cheers, Simon

Hi there...

Back online after a long break!

Hi Simon ( winofunk ). Simonspear is right, there's not a lot around Torrevieja itself. I did my diving down in Cabo De Palos, and loved it! I went with a diver called Kees Kouwenberg ( see http://www.divecostablanca.com ). He has a stall in the Market near the La Zenia roundabout about 10 mins south of Torrevieja every Saturday. I was staying in that area, so it was perfect for me.

I did a previous post in this thread with a quick description of the dives, and the cost etc. I found Kees to be very friendly, and he knew his stuff. Hope that helps!

Jason.
