I love the apollo bio filter. No more dry mouth. I would never dive without one again.

A jolly rancher between the cheek and gum.

Better than other kinds of dips. Hard to spit yer terbaccy juice on a dive anyhow!

You don't need a full metal 2nd stage, although my old SP balanced adjustable is great for relieving drymouth. An older G250, and supposedly the new G250V, has a metal air barrel which provides some condensation on the incoming air.

Tim Greaves:
What scares me about this is the moisture going into your 2nd stage.. :no

No problem about moisture in your second stage... it's moist in there anytime you take it out of your mouth. The only issue would be moisture in the 1st stage, and that's not going to happen as the pressure is blowing the moisture away from the 1st, not toward it.

The Bio Filter really an amazing piece of gear, and I'll guarantee that you'll love it.... or I'll take it back. How's that for confidence!
