The "carols" sounds pretty cool and afforbable...How think are they? Is that all you use is the CAROL? or do you still need to layer up.
 
What's with the handel "engdiver"?
 
I run with a set of Patagonia long johns, heavy weight top & medium weight bottom (they were out of heavy weight bottom, but figured the top was most important),I top that with their (Patagonia)expedition weight fleese. This is under a old bi-lam Whites drysuit.
Just using a single pair of wool socks in attached boots.
I was in a quarry yesterday with water temp of 43 degrees, I just had on wetsuit style 3mm gloves & a good Mares hood from my Semi-dry & my fingers were starting to get cold after 35 min.
Total cost of about $120 for undies.
