Hi all,
I'm upgrading to my first DSLR (Nikon D7000 in Nauticam housing).
I'm wondering if it'll be easier to learn to use the new camera with or without a magnified viewfinder (thinking of 45 degree Nauticam).

Thoughts?

In general viewfinders are excellent. One of things that once you have used them you think "I should have done this sooner". If you have been shooting without one the "straight" viewfinders are an easy addition. Some find getting used to the 45 degree viewfinders frustrating at first but come to love them with repetition. 45degree viewfinders are a good option for those with neck issues give the more "face down" position.
