[UPDATE] Diver Missing in the Wacissa River
Jefferson County, FL -- July 21, 2012 5:45 PM
Authorities have located the body of a Tallahassee diver in the Wacissa River. Authorities say 30 year-old J. Joshua Cox and a friend went diving in the Big Blue, a popular area for divers. The two found an entrance to a cavern. The water then became murky. Cox and the other diver went to resurface. When Cox did not, the other diver alerted the authorities. JCSO responded, along with the LCSO Dive team. Authorities will not be able to retrieve Cox's body until Sunday morning.
