Just a few quick notes about our second trip to Fantasy Island Beach Resort, Roatan
May 13-20
The Resort - Noticeable improvements to the place; addition of patio to bar and were in the process of building a larger pool. Our room was freshly painted, everything worked. The grounds were always well kept and the monkeys entertained us daily. There was also a small herd of goats that would walk by our room every morning at the exact same time and in the same procession. Food was good.
The Dive Resort - This year they actually looked at our C-Cards, and had us do a mask clearing on the first dive. The boats all had DAN Emergency kits with O2. DM was knowledgeable and helpful. Fresh fruit and water was always on-hand after a dive.
The Dives - Viz was 100, temp 80-85. Dives averaged around 50-65 min, deepest was 95. Abundant and diverse life on every dive.
Overall, a very good dive vacation and we will be going back soon.
