Hey all - This isn't really Nikon specific, but I'm posting here since it is the NA-D7100 housing, so maybe some have experience.

My first dive with my new setup will be in Bonaire, so I'm trying to figure out what kind of floats I'll need/want to bring.

Here's my setup:

Nikon D7100 + 105mm
NA-D7100 with Port
2 x H2O 6.5" Carbon Fiber arms (I cannot seem to find any buoyancy information on these)
2 x 5" Single ball arms (these have one ball and the Sea and Sea YS adapter on the other end, no flotation)
2 x YS-01 strobes

Any recommendations?

Should I go with the Stix floats which I can tune when I'm there?

What do you all with similar setups use?

Thanks for any pointers. I know travel like this probably isn't the best 1st water with the setup... but I just have no other options to get wet until then.

Thanks!

The Stix system is the best out there. Shot the D7000 in Aquatica housing for years. If shooting something like the 10-17mm behind a dome one set (4 blocks) of the following will make the system close to neutral as it gives you 1.4lbs of lift: Trays, Arms & Mounts :: Arms & Clamps :: Floats :: Stix - Jumbo Float kit for I-DAS or ULCS Arms -

If shooting a lens like the Nikon 105mm with a diopter is used one set-of the above plus: Manufacturer :: Stix :: Stix - FB-AQ Float Belt for Nauticam/Aquatica -
I could shoot one handed macro which is nice.
