ReneeC:
Can't say I even have anything to claim to FEMA. The insurance company will be over this weekend and maybe by this time next year I'll have a new pool deck and enclosure.
Doesn't matter - FEMA said EVERYONE should register. We just got back from Universal Orlando today - it was empty on Wednesday and Thursday - and a very sweet check from FEMA was sitting in the mailbox. Can't beat that.

all is well just got power today. i got lucky small hole in roof and one through the wall in daughters room. but when I look at some of the places completly destroyed in our town i feel lucky.

Still no power. But we have seen the trucks in the neighborhood yesterday, so that is a good sign. Registered with FEMA, not qualified (huh??), but whatever...

Jenny... That SUX! Broward is like the only place left in S Fla with more than 10% (106,700 as of this morning) still without power!?! At least it won't be much longer... They are saying the 13th now for 100%.
