Is it possible to put in a boat in the intercoastal and sneak into Pensacola and avoid the car traffic?

Yep, very possible, but you will have a busy launch and/or bad weather to contend with.

Did anyone get out to Pickens Friday or Saturday? I was going to try to take a class there on Saturday, but elected to go to Vortex instead due to weather. If anyone has a report, please post it.

Word is, high waves and washover closed the road Saturday morning. It remained passable, but was closed to vehicular traffic. Current status unknown.

Dove this morning, met MrXray and GlenFWB.

10-15ft vis, warm water, lots of flounder...

A few fishermen. Don't know what structure I'm missing, but the jeep, "pipe organ" cage and a huge rearend out of something were all exposed. Rocks and pipes are visible as well.

Lots of spades, sheepies small grouper (even a red grouper), snapper.
