Afther months' thoughts, Ikelite seems to be the optimal solution for my needs.

However, what makes me still hesitating is that Ikelite doesn't make glass dome ports for its housings.

Lots of people agreed that acryl is fine, but I just want to find out how to use glass port made by other makers. When it comes to the scratches, I have to be very careful about them, considering tough diving conditions in S. Korea.

Waiting for your help....!

Ikelite housings are great, but if they have one weakness it's how the ports attach. (Don't hate me Jean. :D)

A glass dome port would be too heavy for the clips. IMO This would make for too weak of a connection, and would probably end up in a flood.

I shoot with an acrylic dome port, and am quite happy with the pictures I get.

Ive just bought the 8" acrylic port and it seems fine. Will admit to still not quite trusting the port attachment (why doesnt it screw or bayonet?) but so far at least its worked. Just need to be very careful nobody lifts my camera up by the dome.

Glass would be very very heavy and the system i doubt would cope.

Thanks for your replies.

I have to think it over again. Acryl is not a problem any more. :)
