In my neck of my wetsuit the sticthes start to come loose
and the glue aswell. . I would just like to know how I can glue
it myself and maybe fix the stitches. . What type of glue can I
use and what kind of thread will work. .

Not sure about the stitching, but I use aqua-seal to patch my suit. I have a Pinnacle wetsuit, and the seams are starting to separate. I specifically use a product by McNett called Seal Cement. Just follow the directions and you have a nice secure seal.

I used polyester thread from the local supermarket to fix a zip of my wetsuite that became loose. I previously tried Aquaseal but it didn't work out. So far so good.

I also fixed the main zip of my divebag: this one survived 1 dive trip so far.

Thank you polly ill try it and hope for the bast. .

Hi Karel,

Pick-up some neoprene cement, make sure the edges are clean, coat the surface and let it dry a bit (until it's tacky), then glue the sides together. After it has dried, stitch the area (on either side of the seam) with thin strong waterproof thread. You can then apply a coat of aquaseal to the inside of the threading to waterproof the holes made by the needle.

You make it sound not so difficult to do by explaing it so good. . Thank you
I doubt it that I will not succeed now DCBC. .

This is the way I did my repair.
In the first diagram the open joint. The two neoprene parts are together only by the stitch.
Bent the piece of wetsuit to expose the neoprene section.
Apply two layers of liquid neoprene with a toothpick or similar.
Allow the first layer to dry for 5 minutes and the second for 10 minutes. Keep the joint open with several clothespins.
Firmly press the neoprene section one to each other and apply a weight over a piece of hard board.
Allow a night to dry.

Remember that it is a 3 dimensional material. But the faces together to join. If you squish the material down you will get a thin seam.
