Going To Dominican Republic

i have to be at a wedding to go to in punta cana the last weekend in june. anyone know anything about the diving there, or have a dive shop recommendation? maybe something good will come out of this otherwise unfortunate situation.

Been a while since we were to the DR, but I distinctly remember being very disappointed by the diving around Punta Cana. No dive shop recommendation will change the fact that there was just not much to see there.
I was far more impressed by the diving around Bayahibe/La Romana/Catalina Island on the south coast. If you are able to get there, that is where to dive.
