good cheap trip?

Hello,

I just got my girlfriend to start diving, and we are now looking for someplace to go on a dive vacation that isn't to much money. I am also fairly new to diving. Neither of us have any specific places in mind, we just want to see amazing things and swim with them. If anyone can give us any suggestions please let me know

A drive down to the Florida Keys?

You don't have to worry about international travel. You save money on air fare. You're still in the U.S. - no different cultures, customs, laws, etc. Well, except maybe Key West......

You can probably even camp down there for like 10 bucks a day.

I'm headed down there next week. I'll let you know how swimming with amazing things goes.

Started in the Gulf diving (Miss/Alabama ?) - worked their way down the Florida gulf side and were then in the Keys. They planned to work their way up the east coast and dive as they went.

The plan was to go home when either tired or low on funds.
