We are a little too western for the Midwest Muck Divers and a little too far east for the Rocky Mountain Oysters and obviously too far north for the Texas swamp divers.
Our own group would put most of us in realistic travel range of each other and we would have common ground for discussing dive sites, shops, etc.
I was originally from Ft. Pierre and the folks across the river referred to us as "River Rats" - that almost fits the diving here.
