Last Friday a small group of friends and I went for a road trip down to South West Rocks and enjoy some of the best diving on the East Coast of Australia.

We stayed and dived with Peter and Kevin Hitchins from South West Rocks Dive Centre (Fish Rock Cave - Dive Fish Rock with the South West Rocks Dive Centre Australia) and their crew. As always we were looked after by the lads and their professional staff.

Here are some of the collection of GNS shots from the first dive at Fish Rock. Basically I had to come up as I ran my strobe batteries dead and was getting close to deco with 33% Nitrox mix. Anyway I was happy with the results.

I like the last 2 too! Thanks for all - they are all good!

Those are some great shots, but Australia isn't the only place to see them as I saw this type off South Africa a few years ago. One shark was so large I swear it looked like it could swallow my wife and I whole.

Hey Aussie love your work,
some very nice shots there,
have dived with the grey nurse off stradbroke island,
such beautiful and graceful animals.
It is unfortunate their numbers are still in rapid decline.

Actually I have seen the most GNS at Byron over the past couple of years.
research like spot a shark will go a long way also in finding accurate numbers.

regards Mark
