Trimixdiver:
Didn't want to hijack the thread, but I saw your post on your trouble getting the one-touch burn to work, and though it might be useful for others to read this as well.
Keep in mind that the "one touch burn" feature with the SR-12 burns the disc in blu-ray format (AVCHD), so it will only work in a blu-ray player. You can also burn to standard DVD format, but I think you have to use the Sony Picture Motion Browser software and not the one touch feature. Alternatively, for added cost of course, you can purchase Sony's DVD Architect software and edit and burn to DVD that way as well.
Separately, I have not had much luck playing a blu-ray one-touch-burned DVD+R disc in my Sharp blu-ray player. It did, however, play in a Sony blu-ray player and looked great. I don't know what the deal is there, but that was my experience. I don't have a blu-ray DVD burner in my computer, but I would GUESS that it would probably work better on my Sharp blu-ray player if I used the one touch burn with a blu-ray burner and blu-ray media instead of DVD+R media.
I'm not an expert with this camera, so I probably don't have much more helpful advice for you beyond this, but hopefully this was useful!
Take care,
Santiago
