Heading off to basic training

it was one of the most difficult things i had ever been through and the one thing i will never forget--hated it when going through it and have never stopped loving it since!!!!!!!!!! Basic was a little different in the Nam era.

Wow, I just thought about...come the 8th of July it will be 21 years since I first went to basic. Ah, to be 17 again. Good luck.

good luck. You'll be fine just "blend in" remember tens of thousands of folks make it thru every year so you can too. The first few weeks are gonna suck but try to have fun and enjoy meting folks from all over the country.
