Hello everyone and thank you for accepting me into the forum. I live in Rome (Ostia) by the sea and, after years of stop, I started diving again. I am interested in marine life and the underwater world in general. Recently I started diving on wrecks. I hope to share information and diving experiences with other forum participants.

Welcome to ScubaBoard! What are the water temperatures like there this time of year? I've never been diving in Italy, but the ruins of Baiae in the Bay of Naples are on my diving bucket list.

Now it is yet quite cold, well below 20 °C. And the thermocline is just 10 m down, so it will fall around 14 °C below the thermocline.
You should wait for June for getting decently warm water temperatures...

Hi, sorry for my belated reply. Looking at my logbook, generally the temperature is between 15°C and 17°C. Now in June I still use a drysuit.
