Hello new friends!
I am a new member of ScubaBoard, 53 years old PADI and SSI OWSI. Diving from 1967.
Last winter (2003-2004) I spent in Egypt, working as instructor for almost 6 months in Dahab and Sharm-El-Sheikh.
Now I am at home, in Latvia, working with my student-divers.

No, unfortunately. Mahmoud is indeed very common name in Egypt.
