Hi K.!
Congrats on your first dive:D.
Well,if you are from Georgia, you have great diving areas to choose from.
So maybe take a course, meet some people, and maybe think about getting
some equipment. Used can be a great way to go as you can save 50-75%

Welcome to Scubaboard and to the wonderful under water world!

Hey there dude,
WELCOME to Scubaboard and diving. You know we got to get together and dive as soon as you get your certification. Just remember; don't leave your gear at home when we go! :D

We're in the same boat (no pun intended). I made my first dive this past weekend with my class off of one of the beaches here in sunny (was actually foggy) Southern California. I'm sure it wasn't as great as O'ahu, but we had a good time also. Looking forward to the boat dives this weekend off Anacapa Island. Hope you continue to enjoy it as much as I do!

There really are some great divers in Georgia and make sure that you check out the cavern and cave diving in Northern Florida.

Good advice. I'm working to get him really stoked! We work together and are close to the same size. To hit any local dive site locally, all he will need to rent up front to start is: regs and BC. I have everything else he'll need. No excuses Kibouta! :D
