diving in the middle of a kingfish fleet with planners and cables you will not be able to cut yourself free unless you carry bolt cutters........
 
Guys, I've seen this subject come up in both fishing and diving forums. I fish and dive, have most of my life, and the bottom line is courtesy. It pisses off the divers when they were there first and the fishermen come around and start fishing and vice versa. No one owns the ocean and whoever gets there first has every right to stay there. At the same time, whoever comes up on site and sees that the area is occupied with fishermen or divers, should just go to a different spot. Some of these charter guys (and some private) think they own the spot and everyone else should get out. Those people need to get over it! This happens on both coasts and it's stupid. Just go somewhere else!!!!!
