We just went through the same gyrations and decided to stick it out with the Barracuda Feb 22- March 5th. We stopped by last year for an afternoon and it was fine, pool bar was active but not swamped, rooms were clean (unspectacular, but adequate) and the location could not be beat. I'll be interested in your report.
