is that if you become cold then add 10 feet to your depth when figuring what your pressure group is.

Personal experiences. I did a dive to 76 feet and the water temp was 39 degrees F. I wore a one piece 3/2 mil wetsuit. After 21 minutes my hands and feet felt cold and my buddy and I ascended to 50 feet where the water was noticeably warmer. Overall I was comfortable. If I recall we did three dives that day.

On another dive I wore the same wetsuit and sove in 55 degree F water and developed mild hypothermia. Couldn't dive anymore that day.

The difference was, IMHO, the weather conditions the day of the dives.
