How to properly clean the inside of the tank?

its called oxidation...al tanks oxidize. steel tanks rust. take it to a shop. it's not worth jeoparding your health/life for a few lousy bucks.
 
Thanks guys, since I do all my gear maintenance, I'll go the simply green route, last night, an instructor I was talking at a birthday party sugested the same thing to me.

I don't think that tumbling is necesary since after rinsing with water and let it dry in the sun for a few hrs, the Visual inspection reported no rust marks and no white dust was found either, but I think that the simple green cleaning is an extra insurance for my peace of mind in case some residue remains in the tank.

No, I will not loan my tanks again to nobody, one experience is enough, nobody takes care of things like the one who paid for it.
