i use Luxfer AL 80 tank and i'm thinking about buying a Norris HP steel tank but i'm a little confused. i have some questions, on HP tank there are some specifications i didn't understand: DOT-E13483-3500, i'm sure 3500 is tank pressure but what does E13483 mean? HP 100, HP = high pressure :11doh:but what is 100? and REE 74.6 CC ?
and the most important thing: does the difference in air capacity between AL80@3000psi and HP100@3500psi worth $300+ ?
thanks.

E13483 is an exemption from DOT. This cylinder is not made to a DOT standard and was granted an exemption. REE 74.6 cc is a number used when requalifying the cylinder at its hydro. I do not know what the 100 means.

Only you can decide if it's worth the money.

HP 100 normally means it holds 100CF of air at its service pressure.
