And these can make it feel cooler, although on average it is not.

More importantly, you might want to mention that few divers who have done both venues would argue that Cancun diving even holds a candle to Aruba. In the main, Cancun is pretty mediocre scuba.

Your right about the diving in Cancun. I did enjoyed the cenotes near Tulum. But if your going to go to Cancun, you might as well go to Cozumel instead. It's just a hop skip & a jump. I have a friend who is a diver, but her husband no longer dives. They always stay in Playa, so he can golf & she takes the ferry across to Coz, to dive.
