1. The mask might not be the right fit.
2. you might want to practice without the mask so you stop using your nose to inhale.
3. You might be putting too much force into clearing your ears initially depending on how deep you go.
4. Use a decongestant after you dive and I would recommend "swimmer ear" drops after each dive to to remove water deep in the ear canals.
5. Keep practicing and tweeking the strap on the mask. I just changed the strap on mine and it took about 3 dives for the fit to be perfect.
6. Remember...DONT INHALE with your NOSE :D

It's the Northern hemisphere water. The water in Austrailia is of a different ploarity because they are up side down. Try doing all your pool work inverted. :rofl3:
