The dives off of Jax are in the 100' plus range. Atlantic Pro Dive is the shop worth diving with. Old high school friends! The rivers in Jax are too dirty for any kind of diving. The paper mills and chemical plants still dump waste in the water ways.

There is a little know organization in Jax call The Jacksonville Reef Research Team (or something like that). They have a terrific WEB site.

Basically they dive year round doing fish counts and other scientific stuff. They have a qualification/training program that appears to be worth pursuing. Give tham a call. Maybe they will be diving!
