I need a suggestion for diving in July.
Anywhere in the world.
I would like calm water and fantastic visibility please.
Also...no liveaboards.
Thank you.

Hi Rakay!

In July, we would recommend:

1. Mexico or Belize - Whale sharks visit both countries during the summer months. You can swim with hundreds in Isla Mujeres.
2. Indonesia - July is great for Moyo Island, Komodo and Bali.
3. The South Pacific - French Polynesia is always a good choice.
4. Sardinia or Croatia - July is great for Mediterranean diving and these two countries have graced many lists as the destinations of choice for 2016.
5. The Galapagos - You’ll have plenty of marine species in July. While a liveaboard might be your best option here, it is doable with a land-based operator.
6. The Azores - These islands are becoming cheaper to get to all the time and the diving is some of the best in Europe. This region of Portugal is pelagic heaven. Check out the flights on Ryan Air or SATA.

You might also find our Dive Destination Wizard helpful. You can use it to make a list of possible destinations based on the month you wish to travel and the marine life species you want to see. You can check it out here: https://diviac.travel/wizard/

Do let us know where you decide to go. Happy Diving!

More information PLEASE!
Where are you flying out from? Where have you been?
How many people? Divers and non-divers?
What do you want to do in off time?
What is your price range?
What is your diving experience?

Just from your statement... calm water and fantastic visibility... best vis in Caribbean is going to be Caymans and Cozumel. Cozumel is drift diving, so don't know if you consider that calm or not.
Palau also has great visibility, but it is best done by liveaboard.
if you answer these questions above, it might help us.
