5 of us brave souls met up for a late morning dive at Old Garden Beach today. I wasn't prepared for the rocky entry which shows how long ago it was that I last dived there! We surface swam out a ways (low tide) and followed a 60 degree compass heading until we couldn't feel our fingers anymore and turned back. Viz was pretty spectacular, a solid 20-30 feet. Temp was about 43 degrees, 29 degrees above water. Did a 53 minute dive with a max depth of 33 feet. Saw one good-sized lobster, one tiny scallop, a grubby sculpin, and a school of pollock. Not a bad dive to end the year on. Here's hoping the gear dries out a little bit before tomorrow's dive!

I forgot to take my gear inside last night and it was frozen for today's dive. Getting my boots on was interesting. Great dive yesterday, glad you came up with the idea!
