Hey all,

I'm planning to go to Indonesia (thinking of flying to Bali/Labuan Bajo) in around 10 days (end of November).

Any good way to search for/negotiate last-minute deals for liveaboards?

Bonus question: any tips for good dive shops in Bali / Labuan Bajo? I've done ~200 dives, including strong currents. Only thing I'm not too keen on is negative entries.

Cheers,
Spyros

I haven't been to Komodo (yet), but I remember reading somewhere that the best way to get good last minute deals is to actually go to Labuan Bajo and walk around/talk with operators. I'm not sure if end of November is a good time for this kind of adventure. I think it is the end of season so lot's of LoBs move to other areas (Raja Ampat). Hence, you'd better have solid backup plans if you don't want to be disappointed.

Good luck
