Come play at Santa Rosa Island with Channel Islands Dive Adventures! We have the Truth chartered for a 1 day trip to Santa Rosa Island on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Any trip Santa Rosa is an awesome adventure especially if you can get to some of the cool sites that are seldom visited.
The plan is to board between 8:00-midnight Friday, May 13th with the Truth departing at 4:00 am. Depending on weather we will try and get to the best dive sites possible at Santa Rosa.
Santa Rosa has some great dive sites such as Bee Rock, East End Pinnacles, Ford Point, Carrington Point and more. Santa Rosa Island is also where the SS Chickasaw, a former WW II auxiliary transport ship ran aground in 1962 at Cluster Point. Because of the weather around the northern islands, Santa Rosa is where you may end up if going to San Miguel and you will not be sorry that you did. Both San Miguel and Santa Rosa Islands also have their Marine Protected Areas (MPA) where it is strictly look and don’t touch.
