I recently increased my employer provided life insurance. Before I did so, I did some investigation into what was covered, with the help of our company's HR dept, because I am beginning to get into technical diving. When we called the policy was gone over & we asked about issues of "lifestyle" activities such as technical diving, sky diving, cliff climbing & such. Our company's insurance said there was no bias towards those activities. But there may be differences between individual & employer insurances.
