check your local dive shop or sporting goods store for the the measures.. I just renewed my fishing/lobster license for down here in florida. Ticklestick/net or snare is allowed most places here.

Jim Mathie's "Catching the Bug" has decent information on catching lobster (yes it's written for the florida spiny lobster) but info on how to find them etc should apply elsewhere to other bugs in the family.

Not really.


I love heading to Key West to go after the spiny's.....but 90+% of my hunting is up here for the Northern Lobster. Its a different animal, different technique, different habitat.

Completely different.
