Turns out Costco does not have any delivery service. Everyone is on their own to get heavy stuff home. My wife can't pick up her end of 300lbs, so I have to hire help. Anyone have experience with a "reasonable" local (Honolulu) outfit that can pick up and deliver heavy stuff?

Island Movers quoted $600 for a 3 mile trip to deliver. That has to be way out of line for a single 300lb crate!

The 'Services' section of the Honolulu Advertiser Classified Ads has some listings for light hauling, bulky item transport. You might give one of them a call...

"The lightbulb switches on"

Yeah, that just occurred to me, duh........Thanks for the mental jog.
