I do all of mine both in the paper log which usually stays at home or at the lodging and use diverecord.com for my electronic dives. It automaticly categorizes everything for you such as deep dives, night dives, what fish you saw, what kind of waves you had all you do is imput the information and walla everything is done instantly.

Anymore I just use my computer downloader, but I was using a zippered binder with copied pages from a Trident logbook. It works well and I still carry it because I keep all my cards and etc. in it. I kick myself for falling behind and not keeping up a paper log. A friend has a logbook that I envy. He can look up the best restaurants, dive shops, phone numbers and most anything you want to know from about every place he's ever been.

The important thing is to keep logging.
