I am curretly looking to buy a gear bag for my trip in Dec. to Play Del Carmen. I know the restrictions for check-in luggage for international flights are 50-70 lbs and 62 cubic inches. I currently have a dive bag that I use for local to carry all snorkle gear and small accessories. I will be taking my Regs and computer in a Reg bag that I can carry on. So basically I am looking for something that can carry my BC and 3mm wetsuit or (2) BCs and (2) 3mm wetsuits.

Even better if I could loose my old snorkle bag and have 1 bag that I can put my BC, 3mm westsuit and all my snorkle gear in and be able to check-in the luggage at the airport and take it on the dive boat that would be great.

Any help would be great,

Thanks

Check out the ATB II at http://www.badbags.com/index.htm I like this bag because it doesn’t advertise your have dive gear in your bag. I have worn out a couple of other bags. This bag is bullet proof I drug it all across Thailand, I me across several beaches not just one. It has been to Bonaire & Maui as well. Still looks new and is going to Bonaire in November as well. Also it folds flat for storage. I just purchased another bag from these folks the other day they where closing out some odd colors. I figured that makes it easier to spot on the carousel. Hope it works for you.

An alternative is this other brand called Ralf Tech which I came across and it does have a wide range of dive bags. Check it out at www.ralftech.com.sg. Enjoy!
