There are 2 types of Mares inflators. Though they look the same from outside, the inflator valve is radically different.
One uses a schrader valve, the other uses a spring, o-ring and steel ball.

The document with the schrader valve is dated 1999, the document with the ERGO inflator is dated 2012.
My question is if both inflators are still current or the ERGO is the current and the one with schrader is deprecated.
I'm asking because I hate inflators with schrader valves and we are deciding which BCD to buy to renew the gear of our school. Mares Rover BCD seems to be a good choice.
Jacket BCDs with standard K inflators have the problem of early inflator and valve flanges broken.
