I love both Islands, but without saying more on that, I'd be interested in hearing more about the 'interesting contrast' you mentioned.

Nice report, we were diving Molokini earlier this year in April. As this was our second trip to dive in Maui we enjoyed it quite a bit. We also dove "Reefs End" and we listened to whales singing, we enjoyed the clarity and the fish life as we saw three sharks. There was a beautiful orange frogfish on the Reefs End dive as well as a couple of eels. Our other dives had crappy visibility but we had a Manta and three white tips on one dive at "three pinnacles", we also dove the landing craft.
